




Born and raised in Southern California, Taleah Kelley has been singing since she was only 7 years old. At the age of 8, she began singing in the church choir and local talent shows. Influenced by artists such as Natalie Cole, Tammi Terrell and Diana Ross she found a passion for singing that she couldn’t escape. By the time Taleah was 11 years old, she had sung in over 50 talent shows. Taleah received a lot of exposure from local talent shows and showcases.
Her passion for music is what moved Taleah to Atlanta, GA. In 1996, she moved to Atlanta to pursue her music career. Since making her move to the entertainment mecca, Taleah has worked with the best of the best in vocal training which has landed her and her vocals in great musical opportunities. She has provided background vocals for many of the popular local producers in Atlanta.
Some may consider this native Southern California beauty a quadruple threat. Not only is Taleah a talented singer/songwriter, she is also a model, dancer and actress. She made her acting debut in 2010 in the hit gospel play “Waiting for the Promise,” with Elisha Dupree productions. She went on to sing and act in other local productions with Gabby Entertainment and Majic Productions to name a few.
After being impressed by her vocal talent, Black Label Records wanted the young soulful singer to join the BLR family. The First Lady of Black Label Records is currently in the studio working on her first single. Taleah cites Alicia Keys, Beyonce and Mary J. Blige as her current musical influences. Once you've heard Taleah Kelley sing, you will understand why. Because you can feel the emotions in her voice & songs, just as her musical influences.
